Volunteering at Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
Started my first day of training to be a volunteer at the Intrepid Museum
http://www.intrepidmuseum.org/
WAY fun! And GREAT folks to work with and be around.
"Rode along" for an educational 2-hour guided tour of Intrepid's action in World War II - fascinating and an incredible amount of detail.
Then spent 2 hours shadowing other volunteers on the Flag Bridge and Captain's Bridge. Fielding questions and watching kids (and adults too) take in all the amazing "stuff" there was amazing.
A unique museum that should not be missed!
